I mean, it is wildly inaccurate. So in the sense I cannot help but disagree and point out the invalidity of the claim... yes. I cannot help myself. If you made a similar comparison about a player we were going to sign I’d say the same thing.

Is my name Darren Dreger? Learn to (frank)en read man. I said that's what the cost is in the NHL now a days. I said "that's messed IMO" to pay players like Myers or Ceci 5 million a year, which NHL GM's are the ones doing it. Not me. I wouldn't pay 5 million for either of them.

At this point in time the money that is rumoured to be thrown at the players. I would sit back and just let others do it. Blackhawks in on Dzingel and have 6 more players to sign with 11 million. Next season raises to Debrincat and Strome.

Every year it's going to be the same thing about offer sheets because teams will be scrambling for cap space.

That Comparison is not accurate, it’s like comparing Hutton to Myers. Myers can actually play the four spot. He can do so and produce offensively. We need those things. 3 million is the average contract. 5 million is not that higher than the mean. The cap goes up, the average goes up. It’s hard to watch inflation, but it’s going to keep happening.

that’s nice. Neither is anyone who posts information on the internet. Ceci is an Ahl defender on many teams. That’s who his stats align with most closely. Facts are facts. Shouldn’t matter who presents them to you.
