I’m realistic in that the past is over with.

It does because it shapes the present. |

So, this team will be in the top 3rd in cap space, again, once Brock is signed and 1 free agent, yet will still be in the upper echelon of the mediocre teams.

It would be nice not to overpay for Myers in salary or term. Benning's best two years signing FA's were his first two, and the 2nd one he did pretty much nothing. |

Agreed.
I would have liked this team to at least wait 1 more season, see if Petterson can hold his own, now that he is no longer a unknown, let's see if Hughes can be the player that many think he can be, if Brock can become a better 2 way player and if Jake turns it up a notch, before this team makes the moves that they are/will be doing this year.
Getting too close to upper cap limit now, can and will cause some problems the following season, when the cap is apparently only going up another 2.5 million maximum, as was posted a week or 2 ago.
Also, next years draft has at least 20 very solid players, and some good players well into the 3rd round, at least from what I have seen and read about many of the kids for next season's draft. |

That is what I am afraid of, although I always cheer for a win, this team needs more younger talent, which usually comes through drafting, unless you are willing to pay with valuable assets. |

Sorry, just getting ahead of the crowd.
Besides we can make up anything we want, facts, fiction, who’s facts, what type of fiction..so I’ll call this one fact, Green doesn’t know sh!t from shinola.
Fire his ass.
I like this better than speculating about Myers - Makita
Green will have a few shots to get this club to the PO's...
Then he'll be fired lol |

I'm not interested in getting myself into the middle of a Myers fight, but how did that play develop? Did he skate himself into that mess in the neutral zone, and then was lucky enough to get out of it? |

Other than Myers, not much in the way of rumoured UFA action for the Canucks. |

I think Canucks biggest insider is Daliwahl and he has thrown some names out there.

Love to get Nyquist but that’s a long shot imo. I read yesterday he’s rumored to be going to wherever Pavelski goes (Dallas). |

I think free agency opens at 11am eastern, but they can't announce anything until 12pm. This way there is a frenzy of activity. |

Maybe so . I think Canucks will sign some winger in the 5 mil range . Top 6 add.

I don’t know if they have enough room (cap) for Boeser, Myers and a top six winger plus all their RFA’s. |

Something will have to give. If they sign all their RFAs they will have 16 NHL forwards, with only Gaudette waiver exempt. That doesn't leave room for someone like Big Mac to make the team, or Mini Hog... |

I don't think Canucks are done . I don't expect Loui or Schaller back . Briesbois and Biega are iffy to be be Canucks.
I really don't think Canucks are finished house cleaning. I have heard they are trying to move Tanev and Sutter. Will be an interesting summer. |
