Skinner and Duchene are in the same tiers of their respective positions. I take the Centre over the winger, especially for $1M less per season. - Pegullaville
No, no they're not. Skinner is a top 10 winger. Duchene is a 2C. |

I would have taken Krebs, loading up on centers is never a bad idea. Plus, chances are one or both of cousins and Krebs ends up on the wing anyway. Cousins and Krebs would have been pretty amazing (Achilles and all) - turbo044
Not a bad thought. I don't think you can go wrong with the pick. We need top D prospects, we need top C prospects. It's a win/win. More so, just don't (frank) the pick up. |

Don’t make me laugh man. Skinner is in the 20-30 range for wingers as is Duchene for Centres. |

yeah Skin's is the better player to have by a long shot.
Matt Duchene is more easily replaceable. |

20-30 range means that Skins is at least in top 10-15 LWers 😜

What’s up with crunch berries these days? The yellow pieces taste just like the crunch berries. Still the 🐐 regardless. |

Sweet, Four Falls of Buffalo on NFL Network. Perfect, as if the eve of FA wasn’t depressing enough. We would’ve drafted Goal Caufield and the free agents would be lining up to play like dead baseball players in an Iowa Caufield, I mean cornfield. |

Why don't we just all hope they start winning, for cripes sakes.

Most care because those things are directly related to teams winning, signing and retaining players |

Not sure how many of you have been to Nashville? I visited when we were checking out a college for my son there. It’s a lot of fun, people are nice but there’s nothing overly incredible about the city. It has its great nightlife downtown (where they held the nfl draft) but a lot of the city is very seedy. Nicer weather in January than buffalo, but brutal there in the summer. |

Skinner cracks top 20, no where near top 10. When you factor in contract value he drops even more |

7 wingers had 40 goals or more last year. Only one played on a Sabres team that ranked 24th in goals for. |

That’s one year. He had more goals then hall, Stone, gadreau, Pasternak, Marchand, to name a few and no way he’s better then them. Plus he has the worst contract out of all of them |

He's also like 3rd in the league in the last 3 years in EV goals. |

For now.
Does anyone really believe Panarin is worth 3+ mil more per year than Skinner? |

So, Tony, what is your point then, exactly?
Does it really matter, at this stage of the game, what he's making, as long as it doesn't hinder the team's chances of winning (which, in most people's opinions, is more likely to happen when you have a natural goal scorer on your team)?
Shouldn't we be good with the fact that we have a #1 LW instead of not? |

How many wingers average 55 points a season and make $9M per ? The guy needs to score 50 annually to be worth that contract. |

Have to pay money for goals.
I find it funny that the biggest issue people have is that we can’t score and yet they don’t want to pay up for a guy who scores goals.

It's the Country music capital of the world.
That alone is why I will NEVER step foot there.
