Is defensively responsible and a capable two-way forward. Scores big goals and does whatever his team needs to win. Has leadership and agitating qualities. Can play both center and wing equally well. Is lacking in offensive consistency, so he must start avoiding prolonged scoring slumps. Also needs to avoid taking bad penalties that can hurt his team, since he's needed on the ice. Is injury-prone, too. - gerbe75pts
You can find a bad one, I can find 10 good ones.
In an early-season prospect ranking, Sportsnet’s Sam Cosentino pointed out Cozens’ strong character as something teams will be impressed by over the course of the scouting process.
“Quiet confidence, extremely respectful, his character alone makes him a first-rounder. But with size and skill he’s cemented amongst the elite in this draft class.”
Cozens said he models his game after that of Islanders forward Mathew Barzal. His GM in Lethbridge, Peter Anholt, sees Jeff Carter:
“My comparison, whether it’s right or wrong, is Jeff Carter,” Anholt told Sportsnet’s Steven Loung. “And I think Jeff Carter was such a great junior and he’s been such a great pro, and there’s a lot of comparisons because Jeff Carter can play right wing, he can play centre, he can score.” |

I’m not I’m just saying that’s what he’s going to be But for a 7th overall pick he should be more - gerbe75pts
Looking at the NHL draft history, you would see we would be lucky to get someone as good as Brandon Dubinsky at 7. |

So I thought the goal was to get a center ? Just saying if “carter” was the idea they should of took Caulfield

On draft day
Jeff Carter 6'3 182 lbs ---> 219lbs today
Dylan Cozens 6'3 183lbs
I would guess Dylan gets up to around 215-220 too. |

am very interested in 39's "risto is gone for a second-line center" - Michael Pachla
They are not keeping 55, they want a second line center. Unless all talks breakdown on a trade he is gone. He wants out and they want a player gone who doesn't want to be here |

Lol there is literally no evidence to support your opinion, you don’t have to like the pick but stop tearing the kid down before he plays even one nhl game. |
