Trade Stinky and give Strome a shot, at least until the TDL. - Fenrir
I know I'm in the minority here, but I still maintain out of those two I would play Stinky as 2C. He's shown he can play a good 2C with the right talent around him and if he plays with one of the rookies, plays a solid 200 ft game. He wouldn't put up monster numbers, but I bet he'd get 40-50 in that role. |

because it's real cheap cap hit, that's the reasoning anyway - jimbro83
So buy him out instead of trading him? Huh? |

What Jim pretty much said. Strome did as well and then some as anyone could have reasonably expected him to do, but the numbers might not lie in this case. |

Ok so trade him, u mean to tell me no one would want him? It’s not like he has a NTC, he’s a 40+ point player with upside that might have finally figured it out. |

Have to figure he'd have some trade value now. I'm perfectly fine if we keep him. I think he's a perfect bottom 6 center who can move up in a spot. Sort of like Quickie |

He was playing well with Stamkos. Now with Panarin here, potentially two solid lines. I liked Strome's all around game more though. |

Dallas is in win-now mode. Send Vlad and Shatty there retaining salary on Shatty for picks. Package a pick (balanced out by the picks from Dallas) and send Smith somewhere in a salary dump. |
