Anyone have the icebreaker apk? All sports sites are now blocked at my work and I'd rather not have to sift through twitter |

Contract numbers are already leaking for Duchene, Bob, etc. as of yesterday. This window where you cant talk numbers is BS. |

Just go up to 12 mill for (frank)s sake - Slimtj100
The Difference is 600k; that 600k can be made up EASILY on endorsement opportunities in Manhattan that he won't get on Long Island. NYR can also offer him a front loaded contract that protects him if there is a lockout; He would be dumb not to choose us and if he doesn't good riddance save the cap |

I'd be careful with Point. He's obviously very good but of his 92 points this year, he scored 35 on the PP (20G, 15A) where he's on the top unit with Stamkos, Kucherov and Hedman, and had a 22% shooting percentage vs 15% in his first two years. If he had maintained the same shooting percentage this year he would've had 28 goals not 41. I don't think the issue of whether stats will translate from one team to the next is nearly as bad with Panarin as it is with Point. I'd love the guy on my team, but would be wary of giving up all those picks and giving him $10M+. I do think it's a moot point though because I don't see Tampa letting him go |

I really hope they tried to figure out how to get rid of one of Staal, Smith or Shatty, i don't see how all 3 help this team on the ice and on the cap - KreiderBomb

Add that to the joke of the offer sheet nonsense. If there’s an issue for the players to die on the hill for, it’s that. |

In two years, presuming no buyouts, the contracts of Shattenkirk, Smith, Staal and Lundqvist all come off the books. That's around $26 mil, freeing up a ton of space while Kravtsov, Kakko, Fox, etc. could be in year 3 of their ELC, meaning New York will have some semblance of cost containment. |

15 mil is what benchwarmers that play 3 minutes a game in the NBA make |
