Ceci only one year though. They can also possibly walk away from the decision if he hits arbitration. The struggle with cap space will be more than this year. It's good to get the Zaitsev deal off the books.

Ceci we can walk away from if they let him go to arbitration and that's what he's awarded, which is likely, as he's making 4.3M now.

Worst case, this frees up cap space for the next 4 years after.

I like this deal: it's a creative move using our bonus-heavy contracts that equate to a lot less in real dollars; it's one of the only ways we can flex our financial might nowadays.

Luchuk is an undrafted UFA. 100% a body for the marlies. Harpur is on a 1-way deal, but likely you waive him and send him down. He’s awful.....he’s big but plays like he’s the size of Ryan Ellis. Almost zero redeeming qualities.
