Get the puck out, give it to the forwards... Not in the dzone anymore, don't have to worry about that anymore.
Just like Reilly last year - burn
Barrie likes to rove, maybe not the best P for Rielly. Maybe they keep him on 2nd pair with Muzz. See if the wizard has any more tricks and trades up how sleeve 1st I guess. |

Mcquaid would be good in that slot. Team looks good no but not much for pushback. - joel878
Nope. He sucks. Does nothing worthwhile. He got scratched regularly for clb |

He's definitely got some cement feet. Won't argue there. A journeyman type RHD with some grit would be great with dermott though. |

What a difference 1-1/2 seasons make.
- On Jan 4, 2018, #leafs beat #sjsharks 3-2. Their D: Rielly, Gardner, Polak, Hainsey, Borgman , Carrick.
- On July 1, 2019, Leafs D = Rielly, Muzzin, Barrie, Ceci, Dermott (when recovered from surgery) plus TBD.
A complete blueline makeover. - Fruitcakenipple

Z worked with Muzz.
I think Ceci would too. Muzz elevates everyone he plays with and Z and Ceci seem to be both limited D men who can do a few things decently well. |

Spatso arguing why getting rid of Kadri is a bad mistake for the Leafs:
So, Kadri gets suspended and literally disappears from the lineup but Tavares and Matthews somehow don't show up in the playoffs when the going gets rough.
- floater_willy
I told him to think about it, really hard.
He later doubled-down on the stupidity.
I don't think he understands what he actually said.

I'm not sure Dermott is ready for 1st line duties, but at the same time, I really like this.
Muzzie/Barrie sounds like a fantastic pairing.
Not sure I want Barrie with Rielly either. |
