Barrie is gone next year. After what offensive defensemen have been / will be getting, he's going to price himself out of the Leafs range.

Seems like they moved the one guy with a great contract and who played with grit for a 1 year rental and the D-core is still littered with guys that can't play defense.

And honestly, who cares if they're not under contract? Give us some flexibility and time to decide on the right players to lock up long-term.

Maybe Muzzin regresses heavily, maybe Barrie gets banged up and never bounces back... I'd rather we had some flexibility down the road than handling out contracts for the sake of it.

Barrie can score points but his defensive work isn't admirable. It's an upgraded rental of Gardiner.

And Ceci, if they even keep him, sucks as hard as Zaitsev does defensively, maybe even worse.

He knew kerfoot kadri trade when he signed?

Wow. I guess the second suspension was the nail in the coffin for Kadri. Im torn, we drafted him, put time in and developed and basically bled blue and white. Was estatic when JT came here and was cool to see them on the same team again. But I guess a change of pace will be good for him. Thanks for the years Kadri.
