Kerfoot scored two points less than Kadri and is younger - he's arbitration eligible and will probably get $3 to $3.3 Million in arbitration, or Leafs can bridge him for a couple of years. This is a fantastic trade by Dubas. No downside, Kadri had to go after fuking the Leafs 2 years in a row in the playoffs.

Dubas did a pretty decent trade IMO. Anybody who doesn't like the Kadri trade pretty much have a screw loose lol. The key is Kerfoot. He is a pretty decent player and more then just a throw in. He is four years younger than Kadri and has put up about the same numbers as when Kadri was 23-24. Kadri is better at the moment but Kerfoot has 4 years room to improve. Then for some reason the Avs thru Barrie into the deal and to top it off for poops and giggles they retain 50% of his Salary.
