Dumb Leaf fans going off like Dubas is a genius. Can’t wait until Barrie walks when they realize no mo money 💰 - Shuswap Wap
Love it if he signed in Vancouver next year |

Tyson Jost is setting the league on fire. 22 and 26 points in his first two years. - manvanfan
Remember Sakic won with guys like Claude Lemieux. He knows the different kinds of characters that make a winning team. |

We will see next year when the Leafs have to ship out other talent to pay Barrie his 8.5 mil - VANTEL
Win now move though. It obvious teams windows will be short going forward. I like the move go win.

LOL context would help your argument. No matter, I like Jost, speaking of the Avalanche, really good young player. He only averaged 13 mins of ice time and his total time on ice was only 910. Kids a good player. |

Great moves by the Canucks. Absolutely better today than yesterday and for sure more addition by subtraction to come. Sutter, Tanev, Bear cheese, little things all are probably gone by opening day. Or I’m on crack and this last scenario is all a pipe dream. |

Leafs main players are all young but they’ve got a five year window to win with Tavares, Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Rielly. Their defence is still a mess overall though. |

Top six and top four D are all better, a lot depends on Markstrom repeating his performance. |

Marky has more Vezina votes than all the Flames goalies combined. Canucks are in good hands!
PS, rumor has it that it was Treeliving who voted for Markstrom |

So Pouliot gets signed before Hutton... 🤔 |

Yeah, but it’s a three way. Hutton is only interested in missionary. |

Dont disagree but you also cant argue that they have a shot and they are going for it cause who knows when they can again |

Goaltending is such a huge component of a team, look at the Blues, Chief gets a lot of the credit but until they brought up Binnington they were floundering. A good team without solid goaltending won’t win much. |

I think dropping Tanev down to third pairing would really help reduce his injuries. The additions of Hughes, Myers and Benn (who apparently plays much better on the right side) is huge for the Canucks.
Edler Stecher
Hughes Myers
Benn Tanev |

They’ve got a really good offensive team but they’re so soft, no playoff sandpaper. |

Yeah, i had Stetcher and Tanev reversed in my mind initially, but when I saw Carol framing it like the above, i though the same thing.
Allows Stetcher to potentially play a more offensive game with Edler
Hughes and Myers could be mobile and interesting, and it's important to have some size to shelter Hughes.
Then you got a good defensive shut down pair with Benn and Tanev.
Hopefully Benn is blocking those shots and allowing Tanev to avoid getting hit by pucks. |

I like that there are actually several good options, plus kids in the wings waiting. Much improved. |
