We have good depth now. Next up is the infusion of prospects as they mature & push for spots in the upcoming years. OJ should make his debut this season not so sure who else though. 2020 & 2021 look to be better.

I'm assuming his gameplan is to get his 5M this year and then take the job from Crawford who's UFA next year and might have to retire if he takes another ringer. Or test the market again to get his term from Detroit, Calgary, Ottawa, maybe Tampa, maybe Pittsburgh.

I don’t disagree at all. I still think Sutter+ for Barrie going into UFA was workable. Of course the risk is if he would resign.

When young camps were ok. Now it is a prison & not much of life lol. Most guys can hole up for the paycheque but for me the cost of a real life is a heavy penalty. Still it come down to giving up something to get something & it will be my retirement gig.

true but they will miss those points and Barrie's puck mobility on the back which they haven't replaced. Barrie and Reilly on PP1 will be lethal. TO just got better.
