The fact that we are in cap trouble at this point in a “rebuild” is absolutely deplorable. Benqualini is embarrassing. We need to shed more dead weight.

I wouldn’t say trouble. They could trade off Sutter to free up cap space, send down Schaller, and once the season starts they have some LTIR relief coming.

I think MTL was the only team that semi regularly used a 2 D PP unit last season.

I'm a bit undecided whether Toronto got better. They are now different. Barrie certainly adds to their top 4 D.

Toronto just doesn't have anyone to plays a full 200 foot game anymore.
