At some point as a player you have to look in the mirror and realize you haven’t lived up to the expectations of the contract you signed. Management has done more than there fair share to get him going.

A guy with his skillset will always look totally (frank)ing lost unless he’s out there with at least one fully compatible linemate. On this team, that’s Pettersson. No other forward on the roster thinks the game as outside the box as they do. Same reason the NTDP put Zegras on JHughes LW & opened up Caufield for infinite gimmies. We could do that for Boeser.
