Hes got Strome slotted as the 2C. Cant say his logic is wrong. - aecliptic

Or I don’t want to add a 27 year old that’s never played a game on NHL ice? - nyrangers9479

Don't see another option, and I want to give Strome the chance to prove last season was not an anomaly. I really do like his game. - Fenrir
I agree with his thinking. Put experience between youth. Give the younger centers a role to play in the bottom 6. Work them into defined characteristics.
Let Strome run with the role. If they’re really in need of a 2C, make that happen next. |

One of the reasons if we lose Kreider I would split Panarin and Zib |

Strome has yet to hit his ceiling, maybe last year was just the start. His play, upside and contract are worth keeping him. Good for young ladies D's too. He's been in the exact same position |

Good read about Panarin.

Wow! Part of that reminds me of Nedved's deflection story with how hard it was to leave. Now he has is whole village set up for generations after this contract. This kid is hungry, and after getting a taste of the playoffs, he is going to be awesome. |

Listen..about 15 NHL guys have said this guy is going to be good...worth trading for and play in your top 6. You have your view, I’ll go with theirs. If you’re right I’ll kiss your ring like you crave people to do |

I was asking, maybe you’ve watched him play. No need for ring kissing, maybe something else though 😂 |

You gotta read the Ottawa blog and see what Ottawa could’ve gotten for Ceci over the years oh boy, killing myself would be the only option |

My only thing with adding another guy projected to be in the top 6 is it blocks what we already have. Let’s let the kids play. Kakko/Kravtsov/Panarin and one of either Kreider or Buch. Then you have Chytil/Andersson(one will likely become a winger). I just don’t see where he fits or how we add 4 million more to this team. |
