I think I’ve come to an early sense that this team is going to play another meaningless season next year.

This team was so so bad, last year and the year before.

They can’t score and still have not addressed that issue.

Vesey for Pommer is an even swap, production-wise.

They are nothing alike.

Vesey is a good down low, puck possession type who will crash the net and is tougher than given credit for.

Just brings a different game than Pommer.

He has had one good year and that was 58 points 4 years ago.

He will be 28 and is not getting any better.
30 points two of the last three years.

I think it's more likely that regardless of who his center is, he scores more at wing than center. And what's the loss of production at wing look like with Reinhart playing center.

The other thing I would say is that I think Reinhart at 3C makes more sense than 2C. He can be defensively responsible, but I think it's unlikely that he's a 55 point 2C. Or even a 45 point 2C. That's just my opinion.

If you put him at center, you have to give him the best wings possible, which would be Skinner and I guess sheary

IMO, Toffoli = Okposo.

Okposo scored 1 more goal than Toffoli did. Had 5 less points, yet most fans can’t stand him and want him to retire.

Toffoli is going to get 6+ on his next deal and it will be one you want to get out of 2 years after signing it.
