Marner has led the team in points each of the 3 seasons he has been there. He has never played with Matthews, and coincidentally Tavares has the best season of his career this year playing with Mitch. Kadri scores 30 twice playing with Mitch.

I didn't jump off the bridge on Dece 15th, cause trades don't happen then.
I'm raising concern that the peak trade season is in the rear view mirror, because...history tells us so.
Could there be a trade between now and October...ABSOLUTELY...and it better because walking into the season without filling a couple of spots is another disastrous result starting him in the face.
Teams who reportedly wanted RhD's were Tampa, Toronto, Vancouver and Winnepeg..and to some degree Edmonton and maybe Anaheim.
The fact is those teams did make moves which reduces their need...some will dropout altogether.

The risk of them not turning Risto into much needed scoring is increasing. Does he needed to trade for the sake of a trade like with ROR? Good lord I hope he doesn't ...and then Connor Sheary might be your 1st RW and Reino might be in the middle, leaving the 2nd and 3rd RW to those allstars Tage and Nylander.

If you want to use Risto to acquire a different player, the premise of your argument is inaccurate.

TDL has been a dud for years.
Draft day trades are picks for players. We did that this year.
FA day trades are supplements only to free up cap space to sign the crazy FA signings.

Hockey trades happen in the summer. You want to trade Risto in a hockey trade, it will happen this summer.

Here’s to hoping that the death of this account will bring us new fortunes. Pegulaville has brought us 8 years straight of no playoffs. Time to turn the page and on to the next era of Sabres hockey.

I have watched this team for 20 years do the same god damn thing over and over, every July 1st and TDL day.

Aside form a handful of brilliant moves, it's nothing but incompetence. All owners, all coaches and GMs.

The organization is a mediocre, small-market farm team for the rest of the NHL. We groom our players and then send them out to win Stanley Cups on other teams.

Oh my god dude, Botts literally kept Girgensons and Larsson, they didn't buy out Sobotka, Okposo is STILL here, we STILL don't have a 2C, they made 23 lateral moves on defense, we signed a bunch of losers to league minimum contracts and at the same time, he let players that he traded for walk for nothing.

Our goaltending is one of the worst tandems in the league. Ullmark is not an NHL caliber goalie. Hutton is a glorified backup.

No President of Hockey Operations.

Not in on any FA's. Traded a 3rd for Vesey when we already traded a 3rd for Vesey and he signed elsewhere, which he will do AGAIN next summer. And he will only get like 19 goals this season.
