The Sabres are an expansion team...and one with very little winning tradition. Changing the uniforms were far from a travesty. Hell, even when you factor in the bankruptcy years, two of the team's best stretches of hockey were done in the black and red.

The NFL has been doing dark at home for years (with some exceptions such as Miami, Dallas and Washington), and nobody seems to have a problem with it.

It's not surprising at all that he is still here. I know we all laugh at Ek but many of the moves are related to other moves. Rags didn't trade Vesey until they had Panarin in the bag. I wonder if we would have made a trade with florida if they got Panarin. It's coming.

Of course. Why trade for Risto if you can just sign Gardiner potentially. I don't see an amazing gap between the two.
