A year imo. He might even surprise people this year, depending how seriously he took his coonditioning. My guess is he and ERod go 2a/2b down the middle, with the Mittelstadt line taking a lot of o zone draws

I would be ok with getting a 2C for a year or two on an affordable contract and trading Risto for a winger.

I'm not sold on going into the season as Mitts at 2C but you might be right that in 20/21 he could be. He's still very young and I like his future potential but not now.

They'd probably need Erod. I'll be honest if they got Point out of Tampa I'd squeal like a little girly boy.

Callahan is on LTIR so they have no incentive to move him other than to save cash. They laugh at that proposal.

He can’t go on LTIR until the season starts. Currently he counts against the cap.

Mittelstadt will "pass" Rodrigues as the "best 2C" this year (assuming another one isn't acquired). The notion that the guy won't improve is quite mind boggling.

Improve his short game on the back 9 or Fortnite character?

as mind bottling as it is, I don't know if people are saying he won't improve. Expectations are just dampened for the short term, just may take a year or two for him to be an effective 2C. That's all

very bottling. very.

To be 2C he needs to improve one hell of a lot.

Mitts last year was near AHL caliber.

That’s because he was out of shape and the Coaching staff and the general manager just let him be free instead of sitting his ass down

Mittelstadt has played 83 NHL games by the age of 20

He’s scored 30 points.

We really need to stop pretending he was Grigorenko bad.

Housley did him 0 favors with wingers and he was on and off the PP.

Play him with Reinhart and Ehlers

Right, but they won't have a problem getting down to that point. At worst they'll move another scrub.
