Mittelstadt has played 83 NHL games by the age of 20
He’s scored 30 points.
We really need to stop pretending he was Grigorenko bad.
Housley did him 0 favors with wingers and he was on and off the PP.
Play him with Reinhart and Ehlers - sbroads24
So much of this. I don't understand why he didn't get more PP time.
I honestly felt like he performed pretty well for most of the first half but just wasn't finishing. Happens to young players. |

Is "positions don't matter" the new "special teams don't matter"?

It’s actually brilliant move by Kim, she gets the Canadian and Mexican fanbase involved at a very team friendly contract.

I see we are still blaming everything on coaching.
Is it possible that some of the players were just plain bad as well? Or they were/are not as good as some fans thought.
Were you not the leader of the crusade that it was not all Bylsmas fault and the roster was very bad?
Add - I believe it was you and I that were on this, because I know I was. Blaming coaching consistently is a cop out.
I may be completely etly wrong and Mitts May come out and put up 60 points next year. I’m not banking on it though. |

I don't have the disdain for Casey that some do.
I just think he needs to be a 2B/3rd line to start the season.
He still has the skill set and needs someone that can be more responsible defensively until he develops.
Botts is big on development, and it seems like Krueger is as well. Krueger already stated that he wants the off-ice work out to be a big focus. Hopefully that puts the "out-of-shape" rumors to bed this offseason. |

I have a need for speed.
Erod for 2C. It's gonna be wild - jcragcrumple
Erod is a good fourth line centre IMO. LEt's stop giving people promotions just because they don't suck quite as hard.
Skinner Eichel Oloffson
????? ????? Reinhart
Sheary Middlestadt Vesey
CJ smith Rodrigues Okposo
for my six D I'll take Dahlin, Miller, Montour, Pilut, Nelson, and McCabe
The pieces I'm not including that have some value...probably Risto and Larson only. Maybe I trade McCabe and use Bogosian or Hunwick if McCabe has value.
There has to be a Risto for a #2RW trade out there. Then some sort of package of Nylander and McCabe and a pick for the other one. |

No, because you will have to “overpay” as others have stated.
Johansson is more of a 3rd line guy, and he is the only one out of that crop id even consider. |

yeesh.. Brassard, as a 2C, performed much better than when he was buried under depth. |

I don't think Mitts problem was coaching per se. I think he just wasn't quite ready for the show and got thrust in way to early. As the season progressed, his defensive game improved, and he put up way more points the second half then the first. I put that as he just needs a little more time to adjust to the NHL game. He's got the skill to be a good 2C. Just gotta put it all together. Expecting him to blow up (I did) may have just been expecting too much for a young kid 1 year removed from high school hockey. |
