I didn't use Turris in that sentence

But I wouldn't mind him at 4.5, it's the five years that would suck. But Ehlers

Also, Kyle Turris is Erik Haula with a track record. Erik Haula is gonna get around 5 per with a decent (50 point season) That's what Turris does now. Close in age, close in expected future production. Anyone who wanted Haula who wouldn't take Turris at 4.5 (again, 5 years is tough to swallow, but Haula most likely gets that as well) isn't being honest here.

Turris absolutely has a track record the last 2 years - that's the problem. He is in discussion for being in the top 5 worst contracts.

Wasn’t Norwoods fault.

Marv got out coached.

Had he handed the ball off to Thomas more and held the ball it would’ve opened up the pass. Thurman was unstoppable that game.

Spot on dadead

I was part of the Buffalo Bill's Monday qb club. Norwood broke his silence in front of everyone. He apologized and had tears in his eyes. Super emotional.

No apology neccessary as far as I was concerned

That's fine. I was just responding to Gerbe when he said Turris at 4.5. Which for the aqcuiring team wouldn't be placed in the top five worst contracts. Now we take the full 6. Different story.

And I could dumb stomach that. 4M for Turris (again, term is tough) and another piece for ... What

But you're gambling the last 2 years were an aberration. If they weren't... that's a devastating contract.

Don't know as of yet what the return is, the want money for Josi. Depends if they want cap relief or something back. I would think they want some kind of return if they are eating some money.

I don't have the disdain for Casey that some do.

I just think he needs to be a 2B/3rd line to start the season.

He still has the skill set and needs someone that can be more responsible defensively until he develops.

Botts is big on development, and it seems like Krueger is as well. Krueger already stated that he wants the off-ice work out to be a big focus. Hopefully that puts the "out-of-shape" rumors to bed this offseason.

I really don't understand why certain folks think Casey can't improve to 2C but the same people expect Olofsson to be top 6 winger.

Will they settle for $2.9M?

I kid.

33% of the salary is still a nice cut off the top.

Why do we want Turris again?

You people are so desperate for a (frank)ing center that you'd take on yet ANOTHER boat anchor of a contract?

Haven't we learned our lesson?

Kyle Turris will never help anyone hoist a Stanley Cup.

Because he plays golf and fortnite?

He had a nice start to the year.

He also had never played an 82 game season.

Another year, and another off-season could do wonders.

Emphasis on could.

Just phone calls stages as of now, He called regarding Laine also but I don't think that's gonna happen, they would rather the trade route. Can't have to many players making 8 or more a year.

Norwood had 1 job to do. He wasn't asked to block anyone, call an audible, pass the ball, or run. All he has to do is kick the ball through the uprights and he failed. He blew it. Eff him - forever.
