Why do we want Turris again?

You people are so desperate for a (frank)ing center that you'd take on yet ANOTHER boat anchor of a contract?

Haven't we learned our lesson?

Kyle Turris will never help anyone hoist a Stanley Cup.

- Powerslave

I don't WANT Turris.

I wouldn't HATE Turris at 4M (at which point it's not such an anchor of a contract)

Those are different things.

Going through Rosters I’m actually having a hard time finding a landing spot for Risto.
- ImThatGuy

No, no.
I am being told a trade WILL in fact happen.

I believe it as well, however,
A) there are in fact less suitors (demand)
B) the return MAY not be stellar as a result.

But we shall see.

Norwood had 1 job to do. He wasn't asked to block anyone, call an audible, pass the ball, or run. All he has to do is kick the ball through the uprights and he failed. He blew it. Eff him - forever.
- kritter65

F him , it was a chip shot and he missed it.

If you can get a 50 point center for 4M per, do you do it?
- SDSabre

Sure. And what if that guy isn't him? He has been downright brutal the last 2 years. You want to take that chance? It's more likely that this is who he is now.

If the guy can't play anymore are you really happy that you're only paying him 4 mill a year for several more years? Congrats, you got a discount.

It is, though, due to its length.

2 years from now, after Turris' 2nd consecutive 28 point season centering our 2nd line, we can drop him down to center the most expensive 4th line in history (for 3 more years).

I'd rather be patient and wait it out another year and do 2C by committee than to take that guy on. El Paso and El Puko.

Two year ago - 51 points in 76 games

Last year was incredibly bad, not gonna deny that. Just stating for those that lost their mind on not getting the savior Erik (frank)ing Haula, here's your damn near replacement, and at 4M, I wouldn't hate it is all I'm saying.

Then why bother with him at all? If we're shooting for 51 points I'd rather get a rental like Granlund and not have to take any chances. This guy sucked the last 2 years.

It's just in the phone tag stage.

No reason to get all riled up. What if he performs real well and we flip him because Casey is ready?

That's a positive spin.

People need to understand, we can't pay to many players 7, 8, 9 mill a year. Not with Eichel and Skinner cashing in, along with Dahlin soon. So your 2nd line guy is gonna cost 4-5 a year until Mitts or Cozens is ready. Moving out Risto is going to make the defense worse, unless you get a very good 2nd line center but once again, that will cost money.

There's a reason Nashville wants to dump him.

We shouldn't be that reason.

I'll be honest. With me. With everyone.

Erik Haula not coming to Buffalo ruined this franchise worse than the summer of '07.

Deep thoughts with Jacky Handy-

What if Cozens is good enough to play 3RW this year.

Wait nvm he's a bust

1)CHL player in a draft with heavy talent from USNDP
2)No talent
3)Ass Clown
4)Will never age
5)Will never gain weight.

Apologies for wasting everyone's time.

Hey, I'm not on the GET TURRIS AT ALL COSTS wagon. I'm just telling you now I'm not gonna lose my mind if he comes here at 4ish. I'm also fine with you disagreeing. Just hope you weren't wanting Haula. Because they're near the same player.

Don't know how we'll recover. Was said it was the worst day since 07. I'd say the worst day since "foot in the crease"

Yea because they have 2 top centers making 8 mill each and they want to resign Josi and they don't want to pay him 6 mill for the 3rd line.
