Whatever. He isn't fat. Not even close.

And you watch him closely enough to know he's "doing chew"? Jesus, get a life.

Keep stalking him, the Pegula jet pilot, Patrik Laine, and whoever else you stalk on a daily basis, as if you are going to make a difference in ANYTHING these people do.

If he actually took things seriously this summer

It annoys me that he could be a top 10 player in the NHL but he rather play video games and play golf ..

If it was me I would be training every day till the season starts so I can get a huge Contract extension next summer

- gerbe75pts

I'm not sure where (mitts playing golf and video games) is coming from.

The blue and gold showed a quick glimpse of mitts playing fortnite

He is gonna be ready come October

Stop focusing on what you want to see to prove your point.

He's had a double chin since his first day of college, AT LEAST.

Every one of his pictures is on Instagram, dating back to then.

Some people just have round faces.

If Florida trades Borgstrom to us I'm all in.
- mhp

I think Borgstrom is off limits. Rumor was that was (partly) why FL didn't get McDonagh when TB did, because Tallon wouldn't include Borgstrom. Since then they've traded Bjugstad and McCann and really don't have much center depth to trade from.
Hoffman is interesting, I really don't think they will re-sign him next season, especially if Tippett or Heponiemi show they are NHL ready this year.
Tallon did say he may still add another Dman, but they will be pretty tight to the cap after signing their remaining RFAs this summer. Hoffman would be the one they move, imo.
Even though it wouldn't be the wisest move when looking beyond this upcoming season, I'd kinda like to see them go full on "all in" and just keep Hoff as their own "rental", unless the offer for him is really good.
Bjugstad wouldn't be a bad add for the Sabres. Injuries really slowed him down, and perhaps robbed some of his potential, but he is good.

It has nothing to do with him not working out.

Rasmus says HE "sits downstairs". That means he's probably not working out, either.

Hoffman? Is this the rumour today? Why the heck would we want another LW? We already have like 5 of them. Over on the right side, our #2 RW is one of Thompson, Okposo or Nylander. And presently Sobotka is our #3 or #4 C depending on the scenario.

If we are trading either Risto or McCabe, it better not be for another LW, particularly one that is turning 30 in November and is a UFA after this year.

This game is such trash my heavens. It boggles my mind how you can genuinely enjoy playing that, let alone playing it a majority of your life.

Old rumor at this point. Makes no sense unless other pieces are moved.

If Gerbe is right, then it’s a big concern
Imo, there’s enough there to at least wonder what’s going on

But I’m willing to wait & see how he looks at Training Camp before i go over the edge

After re-joining the Sabres following a trade from Minnesota in 2017, Jason Pominville said he wanted to help be a force for change inside the locker room and on the ice as the team navigated through a rebuild.

In his two years the Sabres continued to struggle as their playoff drought extended to eight seasons.

Unsigned on the first day of free agency, general manager Jason Botterill said he’s not ruling out a return for the 36-year-old winger, who was still working out at the team’s facility in the offseason.

“I did speak with Jason this past week. He’s been obviously working out in our facility this spring. He and his family have gone back to Montreal for the summer. But, I did speak with him.

“How I just said it to him was, if it ever came to a situation where there wasn’t room, we’d certainly follow up with him,” Botterill told reporters on a conference call on Monday.

“By the same token, I just asked for the respect that if he was going to move on to another organization just to give me a heads-up. So, we’ve kept that dialogue going on.

“And, like I said, I have the utmost respect for Jason and always had good communication with him, and we’ll hopefully continue that through this process.”

Pominville scored 16 goals in each of the last two seasons with the Blue & Gold. He’s played in 1,060 games and scored 293 goals and 434 assists in 15 his 15 year career.

Sounds like a late buffalo Sabres signing

I know he can be a top 10 center in the league ..

If he looks the same he should be in Rochester for the year for a punishment and no call up

Not unless we clear some guys out
If we do bring back Pommer,
then either he or Okposo are on line3

That could work out ok,
or it could be very unproductive
