I remember being obsessed with Taco Bell in my early teen days and I’d get so pissed off if he went with our aunts and got tacos I was usually at bingo with grandma haha - Slimtj100
Oh god, that's not much better than having to pick beans with grandma. My old man used to threaten me with that all the time.

I can’t believe the backlash over Hayes’ deal. I don’t think it’s that bad🤷🏻♂️Maybe a year to long, but the money is basically dead on balls accurate |

It's really not bad at all. He is going to be a force for PHI. I bet he has a few career years there. |

hard to gage based off of what happened when he left the rangers and got demoted to the 4th line than traded for a 5th round pick |

Quinn should be a non issue for anyone who said that otherwise, in forcing Jan to counter, and have that unnecessary topic be of any mention at all. I believe Tomburton was the only one initially against his hiring, & expanded why during last season & beyond.
Prior to his hiring, I was only upset over Quinn's delay until finally accepting the Rangers offer, in the event he was awaiting for some other more beneficial opportunity of some stature to arise from elsewhere. The Rangers were also considering another top successful ranked college coach in Jim Montgomery, who eventually chose the Stars offer, due in part to the Stars not being under a rebuild as we currently were. Once Quinn signed on the dotted line, 99.99% of Rangers fans including I, knew he was the worthy demanding type needed to lead them under their shortly earlier initiated rebuild. |

At this point, Gorton is surely reopening trade discussions and reconsidering or countering offers possibly made by other GM's earlier interested in acquiring Namestnikov. That's would be similar to reopening talks with Buffalo two days ago, due to their earlier well known interest to acquire Vesey. In moving Vesey's full $2,275,000 cap hit, Gorton created additional needed cap space needed for the 2019/20 season to help bring in Panarin. That's in part why the return on Vesey was lower than he initially sought this off season from the Sabres or others, & including dating back to the past Feb. 25th trade deadline.
Gorton is currently doing likewise in another desperate & final attempt to trade both Shatty & Smith with 50% cap retained, though in return now for just minimal in a low round draft pick(s) or low ranked prospect(s). Those means will contribute space to retain his four RFA's, minus wanting for now at least one RFA to reach arbitration, in order to benefit from use later of a second buyout period if needed, and forced to use to ultimately buy out either d'man.
Gorton hasn't yet utilized a buyout, only due to the excessive 2020/21 season cap hit charges alone of $6,083,333 on Shatty, and $3,145,833 on Smith, of their 4 year respective totals of $10,433,332, and $6,408,332. He also is delaying in using that option due to hopes of fitting in, & extending Kreider long term, which would also take effect in that same 2020/21 season. |

I know Kreids wants to stay. His agent and them have been chatting. We need to clear cap. Rangers prefer $6-6.5 for 5 or 6. He wants 7 for 7 like Lee. |

Maybe do the front loaded thing Panarin did. 5 mill up front, 1 mil salary
If they could get him for under 7 and 5 years that would be great |

I’m fine with 7 mil at 5-6 years, that 7th year is dangerous but in 7 years what’s 7 million? |

Quick side note, Nigel Dawes was 2nd in KHL scoring behind Gustav haha |
