I wouldn't necessarily say he isn't... he just seemed like he wanted him to be sent down to the AHL to develop properly but Chia was unable to bring in players that we could use to facilitate this.

I think Pavel Datsyuk was more underrated than Gardiner. Guy was basically a franchise player. Should have won the Hart a couple times.
