Ah yes ol Billy Ranford! Oilers were down 3-1 to the Jets in Round 1 and came back to win. Then they went through Gretzky's Kings, Hawks and Bruins. Sather fleeced the Red Wings at the trade deadline that year. Picking up Adam Graves and Joe Murphy for Jimmy Carson. Graves and Murphy played with Mark Lamb to form the Kid line (not the original Kid line of course). That line was a big reason the Oilers won the Cup that year. Well and some guy named Messier. 😂 Everyone's favourite announcer Craig Simpson had a great playoff too.

As per the statistical breakdown on Sportsnet, he's actually worse than Zaitsev in his own zone. And he's horrible on the PK.

The real fear should be not that he plays beside Muzzin (another guy people falsely think is good in his own zone) but rather that he plays beside Rielly and heavy PK minutes. The real fear should be they treat him the way they treated Hainsey. Because if that's the case, he's going to be a disaster.

If he's sitting in the press box at 4.5 million, that'd be horrible as well.

They should have done everything to dump him ASAP.

I just laugh it off. Every single person that i know that cheer for other teams have told me that what Dubas has done so far is pure brilliance. Then i come on here and all i hear from supposedly die hard fans is biotching and moaning over the stupidest things. If Dubas wants to build this team like the all offense no defense balls to wall Penguins that won a few cups not so long ago, then so be it. Its his team, his vision and IMO alot more exciting hockey to watch.

Often. But not always. I know no one that thought the Hall for Larsson trade was good. Other than a few Edmonton Oilers can do know wrong super fans.

Many Leaf fans took issue with the Raysoft/Rask deal at the time, other than the Leaf super fans. Many people took issue with he Dion Phaneuf number one d man experiment, other than Leaf super fans. etc.

There have been many times where people thought something was dumb, and it was.

I read a good point that Dubas is not copycatting, he's trying to set the trend instead of chasing it and being behind the curve. I dig it.
