He's probably referring to the negotiation process over these past few days and there may be an inkling of truth to using both the Raptors and Lakers as leverage in that.

I’m sure he enjoyed his time here. He won a championship and from an outsider he seemed like he enjoyed his teammates.

He chose a warm American city close to his family. Does this mean Kawhi didn’t want to be here? Of course not. It means he wants to live in LA.

I don’t know what you are trying to do here...seems like you are trying to spin it off as Toronto is a horrible place to live. Plenty would disagree with you. But Kawhi choosing a different city has no relevance to how good of a city Toronto is. He chose another city. Everyday people move around. It’s life...move on.
