As someone born in the 60's, you'd think I'd love me some ELO as well. But I don't. My brothers constantly playing KISS, Led Zepplin, BTO, ELO, Pink Floyd, ELP, all that 70's crap ruined that era of music for me. Because of the overkill, I actually hated music until about '79=80 when I heard DEVO for the first time. If the first band you like is DEVO, you can probably figure out I've been into some weird sh!t musically for the rest of my life. Not saying I still like DEVO, but again, they were the first music I actually liked. It progressed to anything 80's new wave, which lead to goth, which lead to industrial, electronica, alternative, etc ...
Proud to be a 53 year old weirdo, who still listens to Joy Division, New Order, Kraftwerk, Bauhaus, Killing Joke, Cabaret Voltaire, Front 242, etc ...

I just turned 54. I straddle between the classic bands like Zeppelin, Stones, AC/DC, Kiss/ELO and 80's alternative like New Order, The Cure, English Beat, U2 etc. Gotta be honest, never liked DEVO.

The New York Islanders and Montreal Canadiens are reportedly considering presenting Mitch Marner with an offer sheet.
The Islanders have a connection to Marner given that Islanders GM Lou Lamoriello was the general manager of the Maple Leafs from the summer of 2015 until the summer of 2018. Meanwhile, Montreal has already shown a willingness to go the offer sheet route when they signed Sebastian Aho to one. It's worth noting that offer sheets have to be accepted by the player and the Leafs will have an opportunity to match the offer sheet if it does happen.
