he was picked second overall

some strongly feel he is a bust because he is not getting 80 points a year, hence he is a skunk, he stinks

if he was picked 7th overall the same haters would be loving him

it's buffalo

there is a reason why we don't have nice things

- homiedclown

That is a huge deal. 2nd overall picks should be dynamite players. When you are the first forward taken in your draft you should have the best numbers. He had a great year last year, I also think he’s our 2nd most important forward fwiw.

Need some info on Johanson

What's his body fat %

COD kill ratio

What's his fortnite ranking?

Marcus Johansson probably has more experience then the entire sabres team, assuming pommer does not come back

I wouldn't hate Pominville signing a cheap and short deal.

Johansson?

Oh boy...

Try 12-18 goals, 40-ish points and a middle-6 role with PK time. And that's exactly what we needed. A middle-6 guy with experience and responsible on both sides of the puck.

Yeah, he is a Swede, but I think for Mittelstadt's development, this is a great pickup. He is exactly what I knew we weren't getting in Berglund.

- BeadyEyedDouche

I expect a half ppg pace. Anything more is a bonus, and that also makes him the top complimentary scorer.

Nolan Patrick will be a good player, but would of been nice to have EP, Hesikanen or Makar at this point no ? There is a reason why Tim Murray and Ron hextall got the boot.

Sam Reinhart did not get Tim Murray fired

Sometimes you get Eichel 2oa, sometimes you get Nolan Patrick. We got a good one in Reinhart. Worrying about whether 65 points is good enough for his draft status is immaterial. We got a useful player

Let's just assume that cgy still picks Bennett. Reinhart goes to Edmonton and gets 80 points on mcjesus's RW and drai gets 65 playing with ROR

Wasn’t directed at you necessarily but I’m not sure why people think he’s a center.
- sbroads24

I kind of figured people would do that. It would be sort of like the Leino experiment all over again.

I like this way more than Leino, and think its a great move on the two year term, he just isnt a center.

There isn’t a huge difference between the players, but Draisatil is better and has also proven he can handle playing a 2C role.

Sam put on his big boy pants this year, if last year was any indication of what’s to come then I’m excited for his progression. I’m not going to apologize for being disappointed with his first 3 seasons though as a 2nd overall pick seeing the success of Draisatil, Nylander (although last year was bad) and even a guy like Larkin.
