It's called libel, not controversy.
I hope you and HB get sued.

Really don't know why Lehner wasn't signed, would have thought he was behind Lee but ahead of Eberle and Nelson in terms of players they need back. Varlamov could turn out to be good but his recent years have been average.

It is a bit strange. Then again, a lot of us on here suggested the Lehner/Griess pairing was playing unsustainable goaltending. Isles fans argued it was a combination of better defensive hockey and Lehner straightening out his personal issues and becoming a better goalie.
So maybe the truth is somewhere in the middle, and Isles management doesn't think Lehner is actually all that great despite his numbers last year?

OJ's got some work ahead of him then...

Varlamov would have to prove damages, and a bunch of bumholes on a message board don't count.

PLUS: Watching outdated _____ try to make sense of Kyle Dubas and his complete lack of respect for hockey's traditional lineup. "Oh my stars what will we ever do without some grit and sandpaper in this here lineup?"

Continue to be bounced in the first round.

The team that beat the Leafs took 7 games to do so while Kadri was out for most of the series (again), and then laughed their way all the way to the cup finals. We lost to a good team and it still took them the full 7 games. Nothing to be ashamed of.

I doubt any NHL players/agents read, let alone care to take seriously, what James Tanner says on his hockey blog. That goes for pretty much every writer on this site. It's irresponsible, yeah, but that's Tanner.

No one anywhere thinks Domi is or will ever be a 1C.

Strome.......I don't know. I wouldn't have traded him. Schmaltz seems just as good so far though.

He was 29th in points for centres last season.

And has been a big spark plug for the team all season.

You're gonna put this on luck again?

Yes, and with 28 teams in the league that puts him just outside of 1C status. So let's call him a high end 2C.

Ottawa, Arizona and post-free-agency Columbus aren’t actually NHL teams. It checks out.

To those wondering about Greiss/Lehner, look at Trotz’s history with goalies. Both him and Tippett seem to design systems that have a profound effect on the goalie’s perceived value. Check Mike Smith’s numbers with and without Tippett.
