As much as that sucks, I dont think we get Eichel and Dahlin with hall on the team. In the long run I much rather have Eichel, Dahlin and risto than Hall and whatever the picks would have been.

Brassard is a bad idea. I don’t think he is the vet leader we’d want. Never bought into the 3c roll in Pittsburgh and pouted the entire time about it. Like he was going to supplant geno or sid. He did awful in Pittsburgh because he was a whiny female dog. He can stay on the unemployment line.

If he was a good vet leader I’d give him a shot, even though I think he’s done. But he isn’t.

I’m warming to the idea of Boyle as the 4c and you just rotate the responsibilities of the mitts, erod, Boyle line. Play them in the right spots and suck it up for a year.

I don’t really like having a 1st line and a 3a, 3b, 3c line. But unless we see a trade, I don’t see another option...

Odd question.... if you find a 2c and sign Boyle... could you swap erod and mitts from wing to center depending on in game situation? Or is it best to just have mitts as the center and move erod to the wing?

I've got a feeling that if he came it would be on the cheap in the hopes of resurrecting his career. I think if this move happened it would be another sign that he is hoping to get rentals this year in order to preserve the 30ish million in cap space we will have next year.

Also pretty sweet on nhl ‘93. LaFontaine, Mogilny, Khmylev, with Hawerchuk and svoboda on D. Decent squad.
