Scandella is nowhere near my top 6 - he was utterly horrible last year. Bogo, McCabe, pilut, Nelson and henri would all be ahead of him on my list.

Waive him and send him to Rochester, resign McCabe. Our D is starting to look respectable. I like this trade more than the Skinner trade, and I liked the skinner trade a lot.

Even if he put it all together, it's still less valuable than a top pair D.

Potential is just a projection. It's changed for both players over time.

Lately, I have gotten the notion that there tends to be a misconception between what is considered telling the truth vs. judging; and it appears that nowadays more people are mixing telling the truth with judgement.

Well, telling the truth IS not judging and vice versa.
When we tell someone the truth, it is done out of love; not out of hypocrisy or pride but the rightful handling of the truth ( 2 Timothy 2:15). We need not confuse/blur the lines between telling the truth to others and judging others because they are indeed two very different concepts; one is right and one is wrong.

It is my opinion that the reason why we are seeing more of what people tell us as “judgement” than the truth is because we know in our hearts that we are not doing the right thing. So, it’s easier to excuse someone as judging you then to acknowledge that they are telling the truth about whatever it is that you are doing.
