Another zealot has appeared from the jungle, demanding praise for the one true God, The God of Hockey and He Who Hath Joined Truck and Tims. Some of our members have scoffed in his face, throwing derogatory terms at the zealot, as he rose upon the highest of horses, looking down on us like a pack of ravaged and beaten dogs. The prayer circles have largely broken up after being demoralized by the success the God of Hockey had when he spread his grace unto other lands. As this will always be a distant reminder to me, I will always press forward and encourage my marooned comrades to do the same. We have kindly asked the zealot and his very tall horse to return to the jungle.

He grew up a Sabres fan, went to Nardin Grammar School and Canisius HS. He subconsciously has a soft spot for the Sabres? Other than that I have no freaken idea.

He could barely skate 4 years ago. I don't think he has gotten any faster since then. No room for both him and Okposo.

Not sure how they view their LD depth, but if Gardiner makes them better, you bring him in and worry about having 27 NHL dmen later. I bet a lot of teams are fighting him for term right now.

Keep in mind that Toronto had to pay a first to get rid of one year of a bad conract. We're looking at multiple years left. We would essentially be buying 6 mill of cap space over that time.
