I will be surprised if Stecher is still a Canuck and I still think Jake could be gone this year. - VANTEL

Jake I could see being moved but not Stecher. He'll be good in his natural 5-6 spot instead of rushing him into our top 4. |

He has to be. I'm thinking Tanev as well. Their injury status every year has to have MNGT thinking it's time to move on. |

I am just saying we have three very good replacements in the system. I don't see him here long term.

Any news if Boeser laced up for Da Beauty League, wasn’t he supposed to play last night, or was the cast on his arm to much of a hindrance.

I like that we can see where JB’s direction is going now.

Tree is still a question mark and it will be awhile before Woo and Rafferty are at Stechers NHL ability. Long term maybe not but I can see him here for awhile. |

Reading on Twitter how people look at the Canucks this year now that we acquired Fartland has really turned full circle. Realistically he is a 17 goal scorer with toughness. He shouldn't be the difference between winning and losing.
Benning has been building a decent lineup for two years now. People can hate last years signings but I think Beagle is a very good shut down guy , and I love Roussels style. Schaller was a short term inexpensive miss. As much as people hate Sutter he is a 15 goal guy when healthy which is great for a third line.
The Comets were also revamped and look to be strong. They have added size scoring and depth and can send a few reliable players up when injuries occur. |

I might not like a lot of his moves but JB is working and doing his job. Not one GM has made as many moves as he had in the same amount of time. |

How'd he feel about Richard Brodeur? My first favorite hockey player.
I remember about 15 years ago, Rich Sutter had a spot on Sportsnet auditioning for an analyst spot I assume, and he ripped Brodeur calling him lazy and how he'd always quit on the team....

I am going to guess Jake and another player for either Puljujarvi Guesev Ristolainen Kreider or someone else. - VANTEL
My guess is that only Risto out of that group you mentioned has any chance of happening.
Probably a Virtanen/Sutter/Tanev mix.... |

Don't really want to turn a hockey thread into a political thread but, educate yourself.......or at least go back to school to learn how to find the facts....
I like you so I won't go "Rage Chompsey" on you....just educate yourself please.... |

I can see peoples frustration but I think this year should be different . We should be be doing a lot more hitting and shooting instead of being hit and shot blocking.

I was just throwing names out there. I can also see Jake staying. I wouldn't mind a Sutter Jake Roussel third line in the playoffs
