Yamamoto already being questioned by Oilers faithful on radio up here. Benson had a good AHL season, but no way that value equals out. Even if you count the Loui / Lucic portion as equal (which it isn't).

I agree. All the more reason not trading Markstrom baffles me. A cheap goaltender at his peak value in an offseason where Bobrovsky scored a bathsalts contract from a team that spent the 13th pick on an overrated goaltending prospect. We should’ve capitalized. Demko should be the guy when we’re ready to contend with this core - why not use Markstrom’s current value to add to the future & then find a vet to split time with Demko as needed 🤷‍♂️.
