FFS we traded a 2nd for Linden Vey. Anyways, I didn't really give a (frank) or not if we fired him. I knew a new coach wasn't going to fix things at that point.

I just wanted to have a lame duck coach so we could talk to the Gallant's and Quenneville's of this world as they became available.

They could’ve easily rebuilt with the twins on the roster. Sell whatever they could, retain the twins and rebuild. It was managements fault, not the twins.

lol. I remember a very old Nova Scotia Liquor Commission awareness campaign about the dangers of drinking Lysol aerosol. Got so bad Shoppers had to keep it behind counter.

It was Linden and Benning’s fault that they had some strange sense of loyalty to be competitive for the twins.

They could’ve easily rebuilt with the twins on the roster. Sell whatever they could, retain the twins and rebuild. It was managements fault, not the twins.

I don't mind trying to retool right at the start short term through free agency. It's the trading of draft picks/prospects throughout the tenure that bothers me.

I know it's a stretch but right now we're looking for someone to play top line LW. Is McCann really any worse than Goldobin? He certainly can shoot the puck, distribute decently and understands a 200ft game.
