Dizingel is still out there. maybe go after Rakell from the Ducks? Maybe talk to Pitts about Malkin (expensive for 3 years)

The only explanation is that the Hawks have a logjam on RHD in their system...Seabrook is the immovable boat anchor, Connor Murphy, Adam Boquist is a future Erik Karlsson-esque, and Ian Mitchell probably could've turned pro but went back to Denver to be the Captain. I honestly think they view Boquist (obviously) and Mitchell to have higher upside than Jokiharju. Also, with Joki, Murphy, Boquist, Seabrook all in the system, it's very possible Ian Mitchell would pull the College UFA card and not sign with the Hawks.


Stan Bowman has ALWAYS been infatuated with skill guys so he must really like the shot and offensive potential of Nylander in the Hawks top 6. Can he be a Right-Shot Left wing and be Panarin-lite with Kane? Then it would be a win win for both teams.

My one buddy likes Nylander, and when he came up, he did put up some points. Naturally my buddy was mentioning it. I pointed out he didn't look good/noticeable at any other point during the game.

I feel like he is a player that will put up some points, but will be hated because he does nothing else.

And getting Boeser would mean taking a cap dump back, for sure.

I am sure this has been said, but newest Sabre Henri Jokiharju's best friend is Oskari Laaksonen and knows Mr. Luukkonen very well. So that's cool.

I heard on WGR this morning from their guest that Oskari Laaksonen is very intriguing and should be a diamond in the rough. So that's cool too.

To me they would want a younger player with a low cap hit back. So maybe a recent draft pick that has not signed his NHL deal yet? Who knows. Boeser is going to want some cash though.....

But getting him, I think we would be good on wingers.

It would seem that then the Goalie, Dman, wingers positions would be in good shape, just need another center for around 2 years and I would be really happy.
