Ferlund looks to be a 4 year deal with Vancouver. Wow, I have to imagine that being at least $4m in space per. I would guess $5.25 per for 4 years.

Edit: upon further review it seems they have ~$7m left in space, but still not enough for Ferlund and Boeser.

To me they would want a younger player with a low cap hit back. So maybe a recent draft pick that has not signed his NHL deal yet? Who knows. Boeser is going to want some cash though.....

But getting him, I think we would be good on wingers.

It would seem that then the Goalie, Dman, wingers positions would be in good shape, just need another center for around 2 years and I would be really happy.

I don't think they have a problem fitting him in. You drop a couple depth D and Jay Beagle and you're all set.

I am sure they will try to find a way, but they traded their first for next year, so they are 100% go mode this year. Highly doubt they want to trade Boeser.

He just won gold medal w/them at the WJC.

The thought of the being reunited w/them in #Buffalo someday excites him.

Quoting myself, but capfriendly just demoted Gaudette and Biega, gives them 15, 8 and 2 excluding Ferland. 4M est. for Ferland gives them 4.7M space with 3 bodies needing to be shed.

I agree, I would hate the Johansson deal if it was like for 5 years. I would stomach it at 3 years, but at 2 years, its a great move.

Skinner is slightly overpaid, who cares though, we couldnt have let him go.
