I personally don't like the decision to bring both Larsson and Girgs back. Maybe you keep Larsson because he's a centre and he killed penalties well. But Girgs is definitely replaceable with one of the other Left Wingers. Heck, Sheary could have ended up playing 4LW. Think of how much better our 4th line would have been with him there instead of Girgs?

maybe, but it would seem as if their role under Housley was to be put in the most difficult defensive situations, check like mothers and flip the ice...smith's better than that

If the sabres didnt have such a glaring hole at 2C .... i would be all for keeping him.
