Regardless of the fact, Skinner did struggle down the stretch. It also coincides with Eichel’s suspension, injury, and stretch of games coming back from the injury (which was premature).

Skinner was (frank)ing excellent. He wasn’t tapping in Eichel’s set ups and doing nothing g else. He caused turnovers, caused penalties. Had dominant possession numbers

Also, just the team in general was not just a 10 game streak and then the NHL’s worst team.

They were slightly above 500. for what 20 games before the streak?

That asinine "we played a good enough hockey game to win a hockey game tonight" wasn't wrong; the goaltending absolutely sucked, and they did play well enough to win a lot of those times, but were let down.
