Exactly. It’s alrwady been proven with the lock free homes.
And wasn’t there a crash involving a supposed automated car?
I’m with you on AA trade until I see strome prove it again. He should....but it’s far from a lock with little sample size - SteveRain
I Believe it was an uber test car in az that crashed and killed someone. |

Nope no one really cares. Stan could pull off AA for Smith+ a 1st + a 2nd+ bobby ryan with 5 million retained and you would still complain. - SaskHawkFan
I am glad it's almost over. Anisimov is nothing to get worked up over, period. Though I did enjoy reading this blog. LOL |

Good one.
Pretty amusing considering I’m usually one of the few defending Stan’s moves. |

Everyone slow down!!!
I'm trying to update my calendar to where everyone is going....
When is Smith going to Rockford? I missed that one...is that in October or November? I'm hoping October. I heard it's nice in the fall there |

Because another day means another line combination: This isn’t what I EXPECT to happen but rather something I’d be curious to experiment with:
Saad - Toews - Kubalik
DeBrincat - Strome - Kane
Smith - Shaw - Caggiula
Wedin - Kampf - Carpenter
That third line would be absolutely infuriating to play against, so I wonder if it could be something Colliton tries out - even though Shaw is best suited on the wing and Smith is more of a fourth liner than third liner. Also, something tells me that Wedin emerges as a nice defensive winger for the Hawks at some point this season (I think he starts the year in Rockford but gets called up relatively quick). - TommyHawk
The third line would make a great fourth line on a cup winning team. Now all we need is a third line. Nylander, Dach, Perlini

Two different goals were offside - 6628
And a couple of two-goal leads were blown.
They lost it on the merits of their play. |

The only issues I have with that lineup is that
A.) It's too top heavy. Very little scoring would be provided from the bottom six
B.) Second line is too heavy. As good as Kane and Cat have been together those two should be playing with the top two Centers on the team. Toews and Kane anchor line 1 and Strome and Cat anchor line 2.
C.) The third line looks like it would be a pain in the a$$ to play against...but also would look MUCH better as a 4th line on this team (save for Shaw who would be best suited to play to play on that 3rd line).
Team needs at least one or two of Dach, Kubalik, Wedin, Nylander, Sikura, even Perlini to make an impact for the team for them to be able to another step forward.
Caggiula-Toews-Kane
Cat-Strome-???
Saad-???-Shaw
Smith-Kampf-Carpenter
I think after the success that Caggiula had last the year with Toews and Kane he will start the year there and slide up and down as JC sees fit. My guess is that one of the three guys on that 4th line ends up starting the season as our 3C UNLESS Dach looks so amazing he needs to start the season with us OR two of the Wings fighing for spots look great and they move Shaw to 3C to start the year. If no other roster moves are made (besides re-signing Perlini to a one year deal) I'd guess...
Caggiula-Toews-Kane
Cat-Strome-Nylander or Kubalik
Saad-Shaw-Perlini
Smith-Kampf-Carpenter
Wedin or Sikura and someone like Nilsson as the 14th forward just in case |

Probably. A team can only retain 50% so we would be stuck paying a truly awful Bobby Ryan almost 4 mil for the next 3 years. Ottawa's first would make it worth it tho |

I just saw a report that Kubalik will be staying in the US regardless of whether he makes that big club or not. Good to hear. He seems very in tune with where his game is and what he needs to work on. He's been quoted as saying that even with his prowess as a goal scorer, he prides himself on being a good setup man as well. It will be interesting to see where he fits in. |

Not that I am advocating for either move, but if/when it happens, I would assume that one or both of Perlini and Murphy gets moved. With as much tire pumping as there has been on the d-prospects, I could see Stan being "bold" and making some room for one of them.
Perlini… it just seems like the Hawks are now bored with him. They brought in a bunch of guys that can take his place. Colliton's comment on being able to play any number of ways and being harder to play against sounded like they wanted to move away from the "half-effort" guys.
If you look at the guys who were moved, they were mostly "offensive minded", and less likely to "engage" (save for Jokiharju - I'm still not sure how I feel about that move. I'll be watching him close this year). |

I was wondering about that with him and Wedin. Both guys obviously want to be make the team outta training camp and would prefer to make the opening night roster, but if they get out performed it would suck to lose either or both back to Europe because they don't wanna go to Rockford to work on their game
