KOAL KAWFELD = elite goal scorer at 5'7 163
Cozens = go back to CHL and take care of your body at 6'3 185.

Sorry I missed. Connor, while still young and promising, has so far been carried by Mark Schiefele. Sam Reinhart on the other hand is doing the carrying, players rely on him to make themselves better. - TheSabresTaco
Are there numbers or charts to this? Or is this your assessment? Didn't Reinhart only drive play on his own line for a small sample? |

Fake news...
https://www.hockey-refere....com/friv/birthplaces.cgi
2 others from YT - albeit they sucked.
But still more than from Delaware, Montana, Bahamas, Belarus, Belgium, Brunei, Bulgaria, Haiti, Indonesia, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Lithuania, Paraguay, South Africa, Taiwan and Tanzania.
According to that website at least.
Oh, and where you came from doesn't designate ones abilities to compete at certain levels; although I agree with you that he needs to bulk up, but so did Dahlin and he did fine - Whatnot78
He is the first from Yukon to be drafted the highest and the first ever so yes “fake news”
My point is he was playing against people that aren’t even at his level and he finally got that at juniors and he needs to stay there |

I'm pretty sure I saw a stat or tweet about how Cozens was the only player in the WHL's top 15 point scorers that was under 20 years old and had less than 3 years experience in "pro" hockey.

Ahhh yes the ole "Room for Improvement".
One could argue that Rasmus Dahlin has room to improve his conditioning but that doesn't automatically mean he can't play this year.
You could have easily said something like "it sounds like he needs to spend time improving his hockey IQ, so I'd prefer to seem him play another year in the CHL" instead of making up whatever other excuses you chose to. |

I don’t know about you but a hockey IQ is very important for hockey unless you want him to end up like kassian

I don't disagree that another year in juniors might be needed, but to say that he may not be ready because the mite and squirt players in Yukon weren't up to snuff is disingenuous at best, downright lazy at worst. He dominated with 84 points (11th in the WHL). You know who scored more than him? All 19/20 year olds. The next closest 17 year old was Dach with 73 points(albeit in 6 less games). Being from somewhere shouldn't indicate if you are ready, or should go back to juniors. It's your talent level. If it was where you were born, Matthews would still be in the A, because you know, Phoenix isn't a hockey hotbed. |

But conditioning is meaningless in pro sports?
Also funny you decided to pick Kassian who never scored as many points in his 3 CHL seasons as Cozens did in his 2nd. Kassian also played in the OHL which is considered to be less defensive than the WHL. |

it went from "So you’re going to say all the high hockey scouts are bs ? I told you he doesn’t have a hockey IQ like three months ago and Bob and everyone else agreed"
to this?

Honestly the arguments are crafted like a drunk old dude sitting at a bar in the 80s. Dudes would say whatever they wanted back then because there was no way to instantly fact check so people wouldn't be calling them on their BS. |
