In fact, Marner's camp came back and told Bergevin what his contract demands were. Bergevin decided 3 days later to make another offer, matching his demands, and Marner called him back and said, "PSYCHE!"

Sadly, it appears, other GMs and players are having fun at Bergevin's expense.

Maybe Alzner will have a good camp and a bounce-back year.

Treliving should be instantly fired for making that deal. He picked up a SIGNIFICANTLY worse player, who is paid more than what he gave up, and who has a NTC.

This is an absolute slam dunk win for Holland. Neal isn’t what he used to be, obviously, but is like 5 times better than the Neanderthal he was traded for.

Probably the most one sided deal in the NHL since Sakic made Dorion his female dog in the Duchene trade.

And even if he did, that sweetener would have to be like salary retention, plus a couple of 1st rd picks. Look what the leafs had to give up to get out of 1 year of Marleau, you guys would have to give up SIGNIFICANTLY more to move Lucic.
