I made a meat salad a few weeks ago. Steak, pork loin, italian sausage, chiavettas chicken, mixed it with a blue cheese dressing and added a few shreds of lettuce for garnish.

I thought that in order for the team to walk-away the salary awarded need to be over like $4.xm.
If the award was for less, then the team could only buyout the player if they wanted out...not exactly sure of the formula though. - IonSabres
I think this is more accurate.
12.10 Walk-Away Rights for Player-Elected Salary Arbitration.
(a) If a Club has elected to arbitrate a one-year SPC, and the award issued is for $3,500,000 or more per annum, then the Club may, within forty-eight (48) hours after the award of the Salary Arbitrator is issued (or, if a Club has any other Player still eligible for salary arbitration at that time and for whom a decision has not been rendered by a Salary Arbitrator at that time, and the Club still has a walk-away right available to it in such League Year pursuant to paragraph (c) below, forty-eight (48) hours after the award of the Salary Arbitrator for such other
Player is issued or that Player's salary arbitration case is settled), notify the Player or his Certified Agent, if any, the NHLPA and the NHL in writing, in accordance with Exhibit 3 hereof, that it does not intend to tender to the Player an SPC based on the award as determined by the Salary Arbitrator. Upon receipt of that notice, the Player shall automatically be deemed to be an Unrestricted Free Agent
Edit: if they did a two year award, they can only walk away from year two and must sign him for one year. |

Yes, however that $3.5m amount t is old and there were built in annual escalators...so this year's amount is closer to $4m than not.

He's a reporter from Sportsnet650 in Vancouver
NHL teams can't walk away from arbitration awards that are less than $4.39M, which could make the Canucks think twice about going down that road with
Hutton. Chance he's not qualified if Van doesn't work out a trade or extension beforehand |

Thanks everyone! But it sounds like maybe they could agree to the arbitrator awarded amount and then trade the player? (if another team would take the player at that amount)

Not a fan of the double striping. Other than that, I think it looks okay. It will be interesting to see what the full uniform looks like (pants, socks, helmet, etc.). |

The escalators follow the same percentage increase as the Cap.. Since the referenced $3.5m was identified for the 2013-2014 season when the Cap was $64.5m...which is now $81.5m, an increase of some 26%...that $3.5m has now become around $4.4m |

Not a fan, especially continue used use of the dark blue, and they look boring to me.
Very uninspired design. |

It's fine. Not really original. Would have preferred a royal blue and gold goat head, considering our primary jersey is basically already a throwback |

I guess you missed the "just about" part?
Are you just sitting in the basement waiting for someone to post something you disagree with? Or is it just me? - Boss34
First of all, ok 39, whatever you say. Get an original insult.
Second of all, no, I call out bullpoop all the time, from a lot of people. Did you not read the post right before the one you're complaining about?
And third of all, it wasn't even close to "just about singlehandedly" either, he was not good in the playoffs outside of a couple games.
Tuukka Rask, on the other hand, almost did singlehandedly win the Bruins the Cup, he was amazing. He allowed almost half a goal less a game. |

Yeah - you're right. If they changed out the navy blue with Royal blue in all cases and made the striping normal, that would be an awesome jersey |

He got blown out in several games for sure, which negatively impacted his overall numbers...but he followed those blowouts with remarkable goaltending in the next game. He was big when he had to be...and that is what counts. Kinda like slow starts to the season for forwards don't matter, just where a player finishes the season...unless the team is so far our of contention when said player decides to actually play. |

What kind of maniac wastes steak and pork loin like that? The others, sure, but Chivettas chicken can be shot into Neptune's orbit. The biggest tease; smells awesome when on the grill, but tastes like poop. |

That's usually how that works, yes. He had a couple good games, but more bad ones.
Binnington almost singlehanded lost the Cup for the blues. Rask almost singlehandedly won the Cup for the Bruins. |
