Well me neither since I’ll be 86.
And if I am, I probably won’t know who I am. |

You're out of your mind. Rodrigues had 4 power play points and 25 even strength/short handed points this year. Neither are goal scorers, but Rodrigues can make a pass. Zemgus has hands of stone and is lost in the offensive zone - jcragcrumple
Erod P/60 - 1.39
Girgs - 1.22
The difference is minuscule
The idea that Erod needs to be locked up long term makes about as much sense as locking up 22 or 28 long term.

I disagree. If Mittelstadt gets hurt, I'd rather have Erod to play 2C than Larry or Girgs. As long as he doesn't play with those two or Sobotka, his offensive numbers will improve |

Tage Thompson is the only Sabre who’s play was diminished by those line mates. |

None of the three belong anywhere near the top 6
Of course. Because that’s the same for any player on this team |

Rodrigues managed one more 5 on 5 goal than Thompson in 200 more minutes
Like I said. They’re all offensively inept for the most part |

You're using goal scoring and offense interchangeably, which they are not.
Vesey and Rodrigues will be 2/3rds of a competent 3rd line this year |

None of them should be the 2nd line center under any circumstance. None of them are that great. |

No I’m using their overall production. Not just goals
They’re production rates are low end 3rd line/4th line production
Being the best of a bad bunch isn’t a reason to lock someone up long term.
I hope he stays for a year or two. Max though. |

They shouldn’t be 3rd liners either, really
And I respect Erod and Larsson have good underlying numbers.

That's fine, but if mitts gets hurt, or if Eichel gets hurt and Mittelstadt takes his place, would you rather have Erod or Girgs there centering the 2nd line? |

None, we are boned if that happens, and would be telling that botts is once again unprepared. |

And it would be a good 4th line.
I’m actually fine with Estud on the 3rd line for this year if he plays with some shooting talent.
But in 20-21 he needs to be a 4th liner/13th forward IMO
It’s the fantasy land where he’s good offensively that I choose not to live in |

Its why we really need two more top 6 forwards.
Skinner Eichel Reinhart
Johansson TBD TBD
Vesey Mitts Sheary
Larsson Erod Okposo

olofsson is second liner potential
johansson IMO is not
but if casey is ready, that changes everything

Good offensively and better than Girgensons has a wide gulf between them. |

Ain’t really wide though. That’s the point
Their scoring rates aren’t that different
One plays high end third line minutes and PP time right now
And yes, I’d take Erod over Girgensons
My point is one shouldn’t be put in the “lock up long term” tier while we talk about waiving the other one. |

What is your obsession with how guys start seasons? All that matters is where they end up. - Wetbandit1
False
Our team has started each season poorly recently.
We need a good start to keep any hope of the playoffs past Christmas.
Where the player "ends up" is important, but not all that matters
