I am fine with that. I wanted 1.75 but can’t complain with 1.85
- Sabretooth9

he will probably get 2.1 or so in arb hearing

He was such an uninterested, disengaged, whiny, tire fire in Pittsburgh though. I like it better than any of our current 2c options. I just hope botts can do a little better at 2c....

You will watch Reinhart try it again and you will like it!

Who will play RW instead of him? Don't worry about that. It'll be fun.

I've heard that the arbitrator either picks ONE or the OTHER offers, not something in the middle. If it is in the middle it was agreed on before the meeting today. So expect one or the other. I think the higher one will be chosen to do matching recent contracts, but who knows.

So $5.1 in cap space left before Erod. Elie is gonna need $2+ per year to lock him up long term. Doesn't leave a lot for McCabe and Ullmark

I don't think that's right. Copp and Djoos had hearings yesterday, so if the arb makes a ruling (can still negotiate after the hearing) we can see what the asks vs the ruling was before Erod's is released.

This is not the case.

Why wouldn't Erod ask for $5 million then?

I believe it is the case. Arb can chose one or the other.

He doesn’t ask for 5 because he has to be realistic in his demand. If it becomes too high the arb sides with the team.
