these charts are golden please do Ryan Nugent Hopkins next
- gerbe75pts

I'm not prepared to say RNH is a bad player, because I don't think he is. However, the role he was placed in, heavy D minutes on an incredibly weak defensive team, he was vastly outshot, playing relatively tough competition.

One of the issues with these charts is they hardly represent a player's individual talent level.

Kopitar and Doughty got destroyed last year, and no one with a lick of knowledge would say they're bad players. Coaching, deployment and team mates definitely skew these results.

But, they are what they are. Say what you want about both players, but last year, they were pummeled against top competition.

You really should pony up though. It's well worth it, especially if you like procrastinating by reading Buffalo/sports related articles.

I think you're right. I've seen some great content on there from free trials and such. Maybe I will.

Last year, Laine brought 1.5 goals above average.

Risto and Reinhart brought 12.5. That 1st rounder averages around 6.

So I'm sure that trade would really benefit not the Sabres.

- TheSabresTaco

Right. I just don't see WPG being interested in moving Laine for anything less.

I'm like a pumpkin spice basic b1tch when it comes to mango. Love that poop. But I'm not some psychopath that eats it like an apple.

I can agree to that, but giving Laine 10M would be a massive mistake on their end. If that's his demands, they should very well be looking to move him.

I made a meat salad a few weeks ago. Steak, pork loin, italian sausage, chiavettas chicken, mixed it with a blue cheese dressing and added a few shreds of lettuce for garnish.

This is not the case.

Why wouldn't Erod ask for $5 million then?

- Powerslave

Because then he is "closer" to the lower number. I hear you, but that is what I have heard. Same reason the team does not go as low as possible, because it won't get chosen.

I looked that up and for the life of me couldn't find anything that said it had to be one or the other.

And there aren't that many examples, since 95% of them settle beforehand.

Since we know the numbers from both sides, we'll find out the answer soon enough

I agree. Sorry to bring it up.

It has to hard understanding what a player should earn, like what is valueable to a player? Stats? Advanced Stats? Defensive role? Penalty kill player?

I am sure they have some sort of formula using recent signings from players, but then why have a "meeting"? Just punch it in and let it go.

Completely off the hockey topic, but I was flying out of Syracuse this morning and Tim Tebow was on my flight. Had his hat pulled really low and didn’t want to be bothered. I definitely made the face at him, “Is that who I think it is?” And I could see he caught it. Gave him a head nod and let the dude chill. Either people didn’t notice him or they respected him and left the dude alone on 630 flight. He kept his head down to get through LaGuardia.

Funny part, I was in first class he wasn’t.

Figured that would be the other way around.

I know next to nothing about Tebow (curently), isn't he on a minor league baseball team? Why would he not be with the team? Call up?

Also, if he bought tickets last minute, maybe there was no first class available?
