I agree with everyone that Drouin should give more in some games. However, let me be the devils advocate. A broken nose can have a few complications, for instance breathing difficulties, which can be a big problem for a professionnal athlete.

Are you implying young hockey players in junior tend to drink alot, sleep with girls and act kinda douchy?

Shocking stuff on this monday morning.

Drouin will be fine, he was great for 3/4 of the season and he'll learn from this.

for the 1st part

My guess is Greyman is just jealous that his teenage years weren't spent at parties with girls and would rather slag the guy, without evidence, to try to troll Habs fans and make himself feel better about his sad youth

his nose was "snif snif" broken.

He'll be just fine.

A year older and more mature. He should be good for 60-65 points

Same thing could be said with systemtool

He really, really, really needs to inform us all that Laine > Domi

Despite Domi scoring more, having a more complete game and playing a more valuable position...because goals...everything else is just peripheral BS apparently

And unlike Marner comparing himself to Matthews, being a winger doesn't matter this time. Laine is the best.

When the opinion is a sliding scale based on obvious bias it becomes amusing watching the desperate cries for credibility

probably. but i still think that's a disappointing production level given his talent.

Yes and no. Gots talents... just never had the drive. if he can consistently provide this team with 65 points, I have no issues with him.

He should be in the 75-80 point range given his talent. He needs to wake up.

Completely agree.

And Drouin has done pretty good in the playoffs when given the chance (aka not with the Habs so far).

Is that like how Andrei Kostitsyn should have been a 70 points guy so everyone hated him for only being a 25 goals 50 points guy?

It's better to accept your player for what he can actually bring you than to hate him for not fulifilling higher expectations.

Agreed on the first two.

I can't see Hudon scoring more than his rookie year considering the limited role he'll be given this year.

Not that he should have a bigger role.... so many guys ahead of him in the depth chart.

How can this year's role, be more limited than last year's role?

I never said it would be more limited than last year. If anything I expect a very similar situation for him if he sticks around the team.
