Of Danzig's three bands Samhain are still my favorite.

November Coming Fire and Initium are still in my active Playlist.

Even Final Descent has some good music though it was just classic Danzig at that point.

Mike Johnson’s reaction to this team is the same as my own. Hart is gonna be great someday but it doesn’t mean he will right now. We all saw Bob firsthand while he was here. Not just the defense but the team defense as awhole needs to be better. We need Alain Vigneault to bring that structure.

What I disagree is the offensive threats. Having 8 or 9 guys who can score. This is debatable. I think we have good scorers but for the most part, everyone not named Claude Giroux is streaky.

There's a defensive side to the puck... Kevin Hayes isn't good enough defensively to offset Jake's turnovers and JvR's sporadic defensive efforts. I'm not sure Coots is even good enough to carry both of those guys on a line.

When Giroux and Couturier are on a line, G is the straw that stirs the drink.

They've got 5 sure-fire 20+ goal scorers (TK, Coots, JvR, G, Jake). Lindblom is likely to join them as the 6th this season (based on G/60, xG60) with reasonable usage. Hayes and Patrick are wildcards.

I think half the dmen could end up with double digit goals this season, too.

If the team doesn't place in the top-10 in GF, they're underachieving badly.

They're 6-8 deep by my count.

Yeah those first four Danzig classic lineup albums are just great.

Johnny Kelly has now played drums for Glenn Danzig and Peter Steele, talk about hitting a home run in metal lead singers.

In four season, Ghost has done it twice. In three, Provorov has done it once. In two, Sanheim has never done it. It’s one of those things where you can’t expect it or your going to be disappointed. I think we’re getting ahead of ourselves.

They’ve got five by my count at forward. I hand credit to players based on what they’ve done, not what they might do. Patrick is the only player I have high expectation for because there is a lot of room for improvement.

I know it's heresy, but The Misfits are the most overrated band in punk/hardcore history.

This. I like both but wouldn’t put them on the same line with Coots or Hayes. Possibly Patrick..depending on how he is doing or in a year. Patrick is faster than Coots and Hayes.

i do believe the lines should have a speed element, not a fan of JVR-Hayes-jake.
