Bee is very promising. Backing up his draft year with that great freshman campaign.

As far as the rankings are concerned, I understand how he's in the 30's, considering his top-end upside isn't as high as others. Then again, York is kind of in the same boat, so /shrug.

I thinking of this line up with a 2nd line of
JVR- Hayes- Jake

Does that not sound pretty imposing from a size perspective? Kind of reminds me of the Legion of Doom days with LeClair Lindros and Renberg (although Hayes is no Lindros). Still seems fairly formidable.

Prediction:

Out of camp AV goes with a kid if they don’t do a trade or sign that Burdasov guy from the KHL.

He says he likes to make things fit with playmakers, 200 foot players and goal scores along with his D being in their natural side.

Line one gets top line minutes and line 4 gets a checking role. Lines 2 and 3 get even minutes depending on match up.

G-Coots-TK
JVR-Hayes-Frost
Lindy-patty-JV
Raffle-Laughts-Pitlick

13th - NAK

Top line in D sees top comp. 3rd line is sheltered and sees a lot of O zone draws.

Provy-Nisky
Sandy-Braun
Ghost-Myers

7th-Hagg
8th-Morin

It's a joke to have Fox that high. He's got a great skill set but he's also going to turn 22 this season and has never played any level of pro hockey.

Good catch. Sandy hasn't been a tough enough name since the McCarthy days and, prior to that, Flipper.

Also, I wanted to apologize if I offended you the other day, wasn't my intent.

Except for Lindros being 10 times the player Hayes is and a dominant physical force; Leclair being a much more dominant player than JVR and Renberg a much better goal scorer than Voracek...um, well..yeah, ok.

This. The only thing that makes it similar is that they're all big. But JvR doesn't always use his size, Voracek is much more of a playmaker than a finisher, and Hayes really can't be compared to Lindros in any way.

Maybe we can call them the Legion of Whom

Yeah, no. He's just not fast enough. #4-5-6 defenseman and PP specialist. He's like JM Liles all over again I think.

There's a defensive side to the puck... Kevin Hayes isn't good enough defensively to offset Jake's turnovers and JvR's sporadic defensive efforts. I'm not sure Coots is even good enough to carry both of those guys on a line.

This. I like both but wouldn’t put them on the same line with Coots or Hayes. Possibly Patrick..depending on how he is doing or in a year. Patrick is faster than Coots and Hayes.
